Happy Birthday ChibiPaint
The ChibiPaint oekaki project started exactly 2 years ago. Unfortunately it isn't advancing very quickly but at least it's not dead. Right now I've started a major rewrite that's going to take a long time to be completed but that'll enable the development to continue on better foundations. So if there aren't any new releases for a while it doesn't mean I've forgotten about ChibiPaint...

News

Version 0.7.11.0 released. It's a minor release but the addition of scroll bars will help beginners that are not familiar with standard shortcuts to navigate their way in their drawings.

New features:

- Reset button of the texture palette
- Scroll bars
- Checkerboard textures

News
A new release of ChibiPaint is available. And when I say available, I really mean it. As of now ChibiPaint is an open-source project (licensed under GPL).

New features in version 0.7.10.0 (with such an important change, a new version numbering system was necessary ):

- Stroke smoothing
- Pressing the TAB key will now quickly hide/unhide the currently open palettes
- Texture palette and support.

E-Kaki

Since the last update here, the french oekaki community E-Kaki has integrated ChibiPaint. As a result new oekaki artists are now using it.
